Short Story~ I entered this story for the BBC Radio 2 500 words writing competition here in the UK.
I was one of the 25 finalists in my age group out of a 125,000 that entered.
I had to go down to London, in Shakespeare's Globe for the results.
I got to meet celebrities like: Julie Walters, Tom Hiddleston, Warwick Davis, Raleigh Ritchie, Nick Jones, Chris Evans (radio presenter) and many more!
Unfortunately I was not a winner, but still got a shout out.

She was 8 years old and didn't understand much about what was going on, all she knew is that her dad and her brother both had to leave to fight in the war. Warning: The first few chapters are a result of my overly excited thoughts about this book.
