I started writing this about 8/9 years ago. I'm hoping those who read it in the past or new readers will be satisfied with the new story.
I will be leaving everything written up for the time being until I am ready to share the new story.

The virus has completely devastated over 150 of the world's major regions and is spreading rapidly. At this point in time we know of only one method of killing the creatures: destroy the brain.
