(Art by me. Took me a while to do this. So this is the new book cover :3) Humanity has always been curious creations that never learnt quickly from their mistakes.. Greedy... and prideful... we'd do anything to achieve our goals... even if it meant ending the world... Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out. I'm well known as The Bad Ass for reasons that are kind of obvious once you meet me. Maybe that's why they're after me? Because I'm a Bad Ass? Nope, I doubt that. But, being forced to, teachers put together groups of 6, 1 teacher, with a group of kids, and taking 3 JK/SK students with them, from the elementary side of one of the 3 schools that occupy the large vast of land. When Alex is placed in her group, she knew it was going to be hell. But she doesn't let that overrule her. She knows she must do everything in her will to keep the little ones alive. When the moment finally comes, teachers and students all split, leaving the schools a ghost town, and everyone for themselves or the dead. But will their chance increase? Conquer the Wasteland
*Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right? Why would you care about jobs and your educational success when you could be scavenging for food, perhaps? I mean what use is your academic future in the apocalypse? Dramatic right?
