When a girl smiles it doesn't always mean that she's okay.
  
  When she smiles it's a reminder that she's stronger than this.
  
  *Thunder*
  
  I looked up to be met with a dark sky. As soon as I said that the rain started.
  
  This can't be happening. I used a lot of concealer to cover my bruises.
  
  "Hey are you okay?" someone said
  
  I turned away from him because I hate pity.
  
  "Prosperity I go to your school. I could give you a ride." he continued
  
  I mentally groaned but got in anyways.
  
  When we arrived at school I was about to run but one thing held me back.
  
  His grip on my wrist. I flinched at his tight hold.
  
  "Im sorry, I-I didn't mean to hurt you" 
  
  "Its okay, thanks for the ride" I said 
  
  "Who did that to your wrist?"
  
  When I looked down I realized that my sleeve was rolled up.
  
  "Umm...I fell on a rock"
  
  "I know that's not the truth but I'll find out" he eyed me suspiciously.
  
  Before he could say anything else, I ran into the school quickly searching for the nearest bathroom.
  
  No one can see me like this...
