The barrier has long since been shattered, and the monsters integrated back into human society, without too much trouble. Frisk was even able to successfully SAVE Chara.
Though, life isn't all hunky-dory for the poor girl. Follow Chara as she lives through her life, trying to find her footing in a crazy world and messed-up mind.
Cursing WILL be in this story, and lots of it. There will be adult situations handled by young adults (most of which have potty mouths)

She (Canonically she is gender neutral but for the sake of the fanfic they will be known as a she) befriended the entire underground by freeing them from a seemingly eternal spell that trapped them down there for many years. Though to get there Frisk had to sacrifice a friend (Asriel) and from that day on frisk just couldn't get the fact that she couldn't save someone out of her head.
