''You can't hide it. You know your eyes give away everything.'' ''What do they say then?'' ''Well, now they're shinning. When you were fighting the guy they were like stone. Not anymore. Now they're like green emralds.'' ''Why would they be shining?'' ''You're happy and comfortable. You know that I would never judge you for being yourself.'' ''Well, mine's not the only one that gives away everything.'' ''Oh yeah? What do mine say then?'' ''Nothing. They don't need to... I can see it without them trying to tell me.'' ''See what?'' ''Hope.'' ''Hope? For what?'' ''Hope that maybe you could find someone that wouldn't hurt you. Hope that maybe you can love again.'' ---- Keep reading to find out ;D Rated K+ (Some content may not be suitable for young childeren) A Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus fan fiction. (Although you can just read it like a normal story, fine by me XD) I do not own any of the characters. I wish... There might be a few spelling mistakes. And a few other mistakes. I'm sorry about that. Anyways enjoy the story.

This was officially the most uncomfortable day of Percy's life. ----- "Percy, I don't know what happened to you when you were young, but denying that it ever happened isn't the answer." It'd worked pretty well for him so far. "Who said anything about denying it?" he asked. The look Apollo gave him felt almost parental. He pointed in the direction of the throne room. "How many of them know about any of this?" he asked. The demigod shifted uncomfortably. "None." "Exactly." "Really?" Will asked. "Not even Annabeth?" Percy shrugged. "Look, those bruises don't come from nowhere," Apollo said. "Whatever happened to you had to have been serious." "It was. It was messed up," Will interrupted, laughing darkly. Percy shot him a glare. They were supposed to be playing this down, not making it worse. ------ "What," Percy scoffed, "and I'm just supposed to trust you?" ++You don't have a choice. A magic talking book with all your secrets written out like a YA novel appears and starts ordering you around, and you're not going to listen to it?++ To that, he didn't have an answer. ++Kid, I am your god++ Percy deadpanned. "You're a book," he corrected. Annabeth gave him a look. "Don't patronize them," she whispered. ------ I took the reading the books trope and gave it a little fine wine with its dinner. Time to grow up, kid. Streching of canon. Warning: Crass language used, discussion of child abuse physical & sexual, mentions of drug use, mentions of underage drug use. Specific warnings at the beginning of each chapter Cover art is not mine. Neither is the Percy Jackson series. Elements (including Hell, Po, and Troy) are the work of goldenryo on ff.net, I have their permission to use them.
