Escaping the Walking Dead

~'I'm a champion archer, but I've lost my whole family, am I truly ready to take on the hordes?'~

Missandré McCloud is a champion archer, formerly in the Olympics, at the beginning of the apocalypse. She thinks all is well in the world, until she sees walkers roaming the streets. She races home, and gets a few possessions together, and runs out the door to her motorcycle. There she meets her brother, and they ride to the edge of town, where they meet her boyfriend, and they go to the highway, not realizing everyone else has the same idea.
They abandon their vehicles, and for a few months, live out in the woods, while killing walkers. Suddenly, a pack of walkers finds them, and in overwhelming numbers tries to kill the trio. Missandré's boyfriend, and brother draw the walkers away, so they can have a fighting chance. In the scuffle, the boys are separated from Missandré, and she doesn't see them again for weeks. While she is on her own, she sees a group near some cars, and a motorcycle, and she watches them for a while not totally sure if she can trust them. She hears many names like Glenn, Rick, and Carl, but there is one person she recognizes. Daryl Dixon.
