"You and I aren't that different," Dylan murmured, taking my blood-covered face between his hands and placing a kiss on my lips, his fangs digging into my bottom lip. "We both want something but we can't get it."
"I guess not," I replied, reaching into the back pocket of my jeans. I wrapped my arm around him, looking up into his liquid-black eyes.
"You and I can rule the world together if we give each other what we want," Dylan growled, sinking his talons into my back.
"Yeah, no thanks," I replied, driving my stake into his stomach. Then he threw me over the edge of the roof.

He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
