The end of any chapter in life is hard enough as it is, but what happens when 18-year-old Aspen Ross begins the next with more than she bargained for? As the end of her high school career rapidly approaches she finds herself regretting all the chances she never took. Now desperate for more out of life, life happens to throw itself at her. Aspen's new outlook on life spices up the last of her high school experience, especially in the romance department with an unexpected encounter with Kyrie Averys. As most people would be, Aspen is shocked to find out the school's Prom King is actually extremely grounded (it doesn't hurt that his smile is pretty great either). This connection gets fuzzy when, with a little assistance from her best friend Tini, when they end up in Bozeman, Montana. While Aspen and Tini use this trip to look for clarity they find Finley instead, a small-town boy who is extremely hard to read but surprisingly protective of these girls he just met. Aspen grows close to Finley in a short amount of time and starts to imagine a lot more for them than just a short friendship. She never had expected to navigate a complicated love life all while conjuring up plans for her future.
