Sam Lake had a great life. And yes, I say this in past tense. A school trip is funded to go to the Andes Mountains. Sam's absolute crush, Jamie White, was going and this was probably going to be her only chance to talk to him. But something went terribly wrong with the plane. It devastatingly crashed on a remote island. From there on, people who survived knew they had to work together for survival. Later on, they find out they are not the only people on the island.
