What happens to you if all you've ever know ends up tragic?

Basically, thats all Lucy's life was. Her one true passion end up hospitalizing her for 3 months. Her best friend moved away and totally forgot about her. Her mom was the only person she actually thought of as a protector, died in a car crash. Her dad remarried a nasty woman 10 years his junior. Her step sister and half sister ignore her or hate her for no apparent reason. Her dad can't stand her now he found what he calls "My perfects". And worst of all there seems no escape from the hurt, reminders, and guilt that drown her.

But one day, she revives a letter from London. A university acceptance letter. She can't even remember when she send a application but she doesn't care. That's her way out but when she finds out what it's for. She can't stop shaking. It's for that passion, life style, and sport she loved since she was four.

She took it. Packed up in the middle of the night and kissed her old life in Wolverhampton goodbye.

But what happens if you find that old friend again and it seems your life falls back together? Or will it just end up a tragedy like everything else?
