He learned new things about his son, got to know his wife once more. Meanwhile, Zeus is watching from above, he's so clearly interested in seeing how his Odysseus is doing. Eager to meet with him in some sort of strange desire, though he can't help wonder if Poseidon would also be interested in seeing how gentle those harsh, calloused hands could be.
