Butterfly, Butterfly is the name of the Americans. Butterfly, weak and flimsy. After the Bomb Treaty was broken, America has been a distort, mutant wasteland.
For Mindy, this is a disaster. No posts on Tumblr, no more videos on Youtube, and no more make-up tutorials for her fans on Instagram! That was her life, how to make her followers and fans "beautiful like her". She was beautiful and she knew it. She was "flawless" and she knew that for a "fact". Her boyfriend okay too, I guess. When the wasteland hit, Mindy was in for some trouble, some BIG trouble.
Now for Ross, this was a different kind of loss. His perfect life was ruined. He was a star football QB, had the prettiest girlfriend, had A's and B's, and a ready college scholarship. But that all changes when the Wing Snatchers (nuclear bombs) comes. He just wants his family, friends, and life back. He was strong, but is he strong enough?
Rose, the outcast. Even with her not fitting in, her life is okay at least. She is an orphan, but had a decent school life. She had outcast friends but never very close relationships. When the bombs rain down, she had only lost few things. She was strong and could handle a gun. She also had some fallout experience... (thank you Fallout franchise!). She was going to survive, she knew that for a fact.
When their fates meet, they realize the truth to make it end. To get to North Carolina, the only state to not be bombed so all the other countries can take slaves and resources. They could die, but really, what do they have to lose?
