As a parent, i try to be the best possible parent to my kids. Myself and my are a team and are the proud parents of 2 children, a daughter and a son.
At times they can be a handful as every parent will attest to, but most of the time they are the most amazing blessings that we could ask for. They give us joy beyond belief and happiness beyond comprehension and present the best example of unconditional love there is on earth.
Having said that, some dads (i use the term loosely) actually are just the donors of the genetic material to make the child. They may or may not be present in the child's life but they don't do anything to justify the title of 'father'.
Although it is titled about father, this book is aimed at both the mother and the father making up the biological parents.

Yusuph is Tanzania Congolese boy who born and grow in Tanzania with unaware of his mother's (Tecla) and father's (Joseph) love for him because of some complicated situation.
