Alyssa Lane has a heart...somewhere inside her. And regardless of how many health classes and biology classes she's been forced to take, she doesn't understand its function. All she knows is that it's the engine that keeps her alive. Watching her parents die in front of her at such a young age destroyed her in so many ways. One of them includes the ability to love. She's hellbent on vengeance against her parents' murderers, training herself to kill.
One day, a new kid arrives in town. He's not the picturesque knight in shining armor. In fact, he makes himself out to be the dragon.
