The Multiverse for a long time has been an endless loop. Both inside the AUs and in itself. Error and Ink making a truce then breaking it in any possible way. The Dreamtale twins fight until Nightmare dies and Dream sacrifices his soul to plant a new tree of Feelings recreating a cycle. But, among everyone, there is one person who remembers each loop that took place and after a few centuries of trying to figure out what to do, he finally got it. He will break those endless cycles and try to finally give the Multiverse some peace. This is the story of that attempt. However, Dream will not help them for free; he locks eyes with Cross, and decides he wants him in exchange for the war victory. It's an easy decision, is it not? There's just one problem with this arrangement: Cross is a spy, sent by Nightmare himself. And Nightmare is absolutely unforgiving of traitors. But he cannot offend Dream, for he too is an Immortal.
