Steve Rogers has been reported dead for quite some time now, and since then James Buchanan Barnes has taken over the role of his thought to be deceased friend. Winter Soldier now the new face of Captain America, Bucky goes on about his life with a sunken heart, scruffy outer appearance, never forgiving himself for allowing his impulsive best friend to go about his foolish ways, leading him to his death in what people know as "The Civil War." Now well done with his unhappy life without his best friend, Bucky mourns everyday from the minute he wakes up to the second his eyes flutter shut to rest. Yet, what happens if Steve-DECEASED-Rogers has a slim chance of still being alive? What if his heart is still beating?
