Daisy is a normal 14 year old girl with a normal 14 year old life. She goes to church every Sunday and Wednesday and loves and accepts who she is. After months and months of mental preparation she is ready to finally tell her parents that she's a lesbian. What follows is yelling, shaming, punishment, and a lgbt+ camp made to turn kids straight. But not is all as it seems with this camp.

Rae doesn't give a shot about anything, or so people think. She has had a dark past and still struggles with a lot of things but doesn't let it show. She has no friends, she has people at school she talks to but they aren't real friends. They are just there but never when she needs someone. She gets in trouble and fights a lot. She can bee a class clown or also known as a 'classhole'. She says she straight, but is she really? This story is bout their relationship, as it grows, they learn about each other and help each other. Will this shy girl go for it? Will this badass fall for her and finally love again? The idea of being sent to a 'straight camp' for the entire summer sounded absurd. Nothing about it made the slightest bit of sense to me.
