Rosemary arrived in the west in 1916 with big dreams and a secret past. She befriends one woman, Maggie, whose husband owns JJ's. Rosemary has a mysterious obsession with clocks and spends her spare time at the ocean where she brings a battered sketch pad and draws the scenery, people walking by and whatever happens to form in her mind.
