Skylar Love is the popular girl with a dark past and a secret love. Diamond Hernandez is a gang girl trying to get along in the streets with her siblings and with others. Angel Rameriez is a depressed teenage boy on his way to suicide and is in the shadows of his twin.  All three of them go to the same high school in the same crazy city of Compton California. 3 kids with a dream and a journal band together to make things work. They are known as the Outcasts!
