One day Alex Smith had to move across the country, they would've been fine with it if it didn't take so long for them to find friends who were like them. After they come out to their neglecting family, they get kicked out of their house.

He's also an orphan, and he's been bouncing around foster homes since he was about 11. In all of them, he's been abused, one way or another. He's been in about 7 different homes by now, and his current one doesn't seeeem so bad. But you never know. He's 14, and and has been jumped ahead a few years in school.
