Katherine Stark hadn't been the same since the battle of New York. Bucky Barnes hadn't been the same since he fell from that train in 1943. Both were plagued with nightmares, trauma, and guilt from their pasts. Can they find a way to move on together? Or will something more happen?
(We will not be venturing into Civil War Territory. So this is a pseudo AU where that film doesn't happen and Barnes is in the clear. I just watched the movie today and I can't write for it yet)

Untangling a Memory
Bucky Barnes is finally starting to get back bits of his past with the help of Shuri, but it is jumbled and unclear. As he attempts to sort them, he struggles to put the pieces together to get his memories back and see what, if anything, was good about the life he had wiped away from him.
