Marinette and Adrien are two normal Parisian teenagers, except they each have a secret: they are actually the city's two most famous superheroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir. At age 18, they discover thet must marry each other in order to keep their powers strong and defeat the evil villain Hawkmoth terrorising Paris. What secrets will they discover along the way?

AU. Adrien and Marinette were a happy couple until Hawk Moth ruined everything to akumatize Noir into Blanc, only for it to become a bigger mistake to create a powerful akumatized victim to threaten humanity. Until a year of cryo sleep stasis, Blanc escapes to take revenge.

(NOTE: This is a "Miraculous" fan fiction. It was written BEFORE the second season aired.) Marinette's life is the same as it's always been -or at least, as it's been since she was given her Miraculous and became Ladybug. She has to deal with classmates, Akumatized villains, and trying to find ways to spend time with her crush. But one day, Chloe Bourgeois announces on TV that she and Adrien Agreste are officially dating! Is it true? Is it too late for Marinette to be with Adrien? She confides in Cat Noir, but he begins to act strange around her. Almost as if he knows something. One thing is for sure... Marinette's life will never be the same.

Darkness and uncertainty rule over Paris when it's attacked by not one, but two villains. The Miraculous Wielders are nowhere to be found. It turns out avoiding Akumatization is harder when kwamis' and the miraculous' magic can't protect you anymore. ✴✴✴✴ Electricity began crackling over her head, bringing the room to life with sparks and humming underneath the sound of delicate wings flapping. Marinette looked around, her eyes meeting a nightmare disguised as a black butterfly. A shriek escaped the back of her throat. An akuma. But I can't transform. Tikki! Tikki's gone!

Ladybug and Cat Noir have always been Paris's perfect partnership until recently. Their constant fighting is getting in the way of fighting Hawkmoth's akumas. The Yin and Yang magic of the miraculous have a plan to fix that. Marinette wakes in the Agreste Mansion, missing her earrings, and Nathalie only sees her as Adrien. Adrien wakes in Marinette's bakery, missing his ring, and Marinette's parents see him as Marinette. With their identities revealed, and themselves trapped in the opposites life, the heroes must grow accustomed to living each other's lives and using the opposite miraculous in order to regain the balance needed to be the perfect team.
