In another world, on the country of Diore, guilds run on the essence that everyone has: Aura. The field of energy that every living thing has, not to mention their very unique Aura. Those who can manipulate theirs and turn it into energy or weapon are considered powerful, if not rare. Guilds often look for these kinds of people. Ethan Mattius stumbled on this on accident. That was before a weird turn of events led him to a different life. All he was before was a poor street boy, living off begging and stealing. And when one day, a stolen piece of fruit gets him locked up, it leads to him finding himself in a village occupied by bandits. A guild of bandits, to be precise (and worse). In his confusion, he ends up foiling the plot of the bandits and saves a member of the infamous Trident Guild, and even awakening his auric powers. He is given the opportunity to even begin his new life with the help of the Trident Guild. 
However, he finds out later during the Guild Games, that a plot has unfolded regarding an evil result, that potentially means the destruction of the Diore country...
