Tyler couldn't survive without at least one walk during the night. It was the only thing that kept him sane. When the city was dark and quiet, and he was accompanied by a cool breeze, it allowed him to have the time to think -- which was something he really needed to do. If there was one thing he knew, it was that it was dangerous to walk alone during the night in a populated inner city -- but he didn't care. He kind of enjoyed it; the danger. In Tyler's mind, he had nothing to live for, so why not? Most of the time, however, the walks would end up in stumbles, as he'd think so much he'd begin to silently weep -- a waterfall of tears cascading down his face and onto his sweater.
And as much as he was okay with it, one night was different -- he felt scared -- felt eyes watching him. He knew he wouldn't care if something happened, but this was different; an eerie feeling. When he gained the courage to turn around, he was met with glowing red eyes and a sharp smile.
