Awake and Alive

Shadow was... unique to say the least. But then again, you would be to if you had six different personalities. Shadow has a constant war going on inside of her for control. Some days, Alex wins, some days she wins, it's a constant battle between the seven of them. The world she lives in isn't one that's so kind to people like her. Everyone get's a mental evaluation and if you pass, you can live a normal happy life. If you don't pass... well let's just say you want to pass. The reason for all of this is simple... all the hero's in the city left, the villains took control and set free every evil supernatural thing you can think of. Those who didn't have bodies, took ones; making people go completely insane. As the cops are trying to take back the city from the villains, the monsters are still running amuck despite there best efforts to keep the people safe. The reason being...not ever monster in insane. Shadow isn't a monster, but her lover is. He is a vampire with an insanity level of absolute zero...at least when the cops scan him he is. He is fighting to help Shadow control her personalities and realize what they really are. He knows they're more than just personalities, they're powerful beings that were trapped inside of her when she was just a baby by the last hero to stay in the city before he too had to flee, that hero was her father.
