Only alive for 17 years, yet it feels as if I've been around for a few millennia. I was born with an unusual... trait, immortality.
For most of you, that would be a dream come true, but for me, it's a horrible nightmare. With my immortality, I gained new abilities over the years. Visions of the future. Telekinesis. Super human senses. Shape shifting.
Sounds like a fairytale right? Snow White? Sleeping Beauty? Or maybe even Rapunzel? Whatever the case, this is not a prince charming rescuing princess fairytale, neither is this my tale.
This is a story about a young girl who saves ME, not in the way that you are thinking. This is a story about a young girl who saves me, from myself.
In return, I offer her something of equal value. What is it? Well that's not something I can say for now...

Imagine this: drifting off to sleep, only to awaken in a world beyond your wildest dreams. You find yourself in a different civilization, at different point in time, where magic is a part of daily life with extraordinary laws of physics. My conclusion: Now, currently 33 years old (in 2024), I feel comfortable with the research I've done, reaching a point where reality to me - is the dream and the dreams, are the real reality! And, it all started with that one vision I got, as I had just turned 13. It made life look like a big simulation, partly fabricated... like in a game. Thus, I am writing this book as a kind of journal/ a collection of the key dreams, visions and astral travels I have had - all filled with adventure, magic, romance and experiences from parallel lives that helped me explore the true nature of humanity within all of creation. I could as well be super-crazy but... I will leave that to you, to decide. Just take it all in with a hint of skepticism, self-discernment and an open mind. Shattered Crystal ( Target for Demise)
I crawled and sunk impossibly deeper into the couch behind me, biting my nails to hold back the scream of horror aching to burst through my chords. The terrifying and spine shivering sight of flesh being ripped to pieces, agonising screams of terror and the horrendous sight of blood splattering on the living room window escalated my heart beats to rhythms I never thought possible. Suddenly all was quiet, silent and dark. The light from the moon that peeked through the window became non-existent. The screams of terror and horror disappeared and at the window I felt the presence of the monster who was doing this. It turned a bit staring back at me with menacing yellow orbs penetrating to my soul as a silent warning that I would be next. Next in line following the demise of my very own...family. Crystal Cane, 17 year old senior in high school has had to live 12 years of her life after the incident with a new family, new home, new school and fortunately new friends. Still a little timid as she lives her life she has to be ready to see what fate has in store for her. Or what it seems to have against her . She enters a new lifestyle filled with question and very un expected harm her way.

Kairos is the name, just your average magically gifted Guardian running from her problems... Years ago I walked away from my home, Empire Island, and turned my back on my sacred vow to protect its magic. I thought I could enjoy my freedom, but my past has caught up to me. The island is under threat from demon-possessed recruits destroying hallowed land and poisoning the Well Source of magic. I kicked their ass right away, only to discover the threat I never expected to face was behind it all. Demon King Uruk'Zu himself. To make matters worse, my younger sister has gone missing. Caught up in emotion, I kissed the man who has haunted my dreams for years. It was an innocent kiss, or so I thought. Turns out it was a bad idea. Very bad. With that one kiss we woke a centuries-old fated-mate spell that will curse my life if I deny it. What Are You?
I am 16 years old and finally will have a life out the home I have know for so long. I will be going to a school. The leaders of our city will be picking which school I fit in. Except these school aren't what they seem to the naked eye. They involve monsters no one ever thought real. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and Shape-shifters. How can I survive learning about these things daily for my whole life?! But, the thing is I won't be learning about them to just...learn. I will be finding out about these creatures because...I am one. New friendships brew while enemies start to boil. Some friends become more than friends. Then some turn on her. She's different. ONC entry for 2024. Prompt 49: Being a superhero is just too boring. Let's be a villain! 15-years-old Marissa Everstar makes a Faustian bargain to receive superpowers, in the hope they will make her famous. But when being a superhero turns out to mainly involve boring work that does not get her the immediate popularity she craves, she shifts gears and becomes a villain. Trigger warning: contains descriptions of physical and emotional abuse, blood and gore. Excerpt from chapter 2: I carefully begin pouring the white powder onto the floor, drawing a large pentagram. I spend a lot of time on the intricate details, making sure everything is perfect. The summoning circle quite small, but it will have to do. I clap my hands twice and hear a soul-crushing scream that appears to pierce my body to its core. Hearing the sound fills my stomach with butterflies and gives me a fuzzy feeling. I haven't heard a single sound in almost a year. Following the scream, a shadowy figure emerges. He appears deep black, littered with stars, as if a human-like shape has been carved out of the universe, but also strangely transparent, as if made of glass. His long arms end in clawed fingers, and his ears and horns are goat-like in appearance. On his back are two bat-like wings. He speaks in a deep voice-the only one I've heard in a long time.
