After Dan's accident, he wasn't the same. He had healed properly, but his personality grew dark when the police began their hunt for the criminal who put Dan in the hospital. 
He never looked at me with the same passion he once did. We would kiss, we would have sex, but he was always upset. 
When I asked him what was wrong, he claimed there was nothing wrong. He didn't know I saw his wrists and thighs.
