To her, he was a snow leopard protecting her from harm's way.

To him, she was a princess who would sparkle even brighter than the stars and snow combined.

Oh, how there was a secret that she kept from him.

"Shirou, where are you going?"

She stood in the doorway, one hand to her hips while the other was lazily at her side. 

Fubuki Shirou, her 'younger' brother, walked to her and whispered into her right ear,

"Protect Hyouga-kun."

It was the other way around. 

Instead, the young girl was protecting the young boy.

How ironic.

The snow is protecting the snow leopard.

Akina Uchiha, the little sister of Itachi Uchiha, was known for her open and cheerful nature. There was hardly anyone in the Uchiha clan who behaved like that and that's why everyone liked this little girl. But one thing was hidden from the whole clan and from the Hokagen. Akina had awakened her Sharingan already as a small child although such a thing was hardly possible. Because of her fear that something could happen, her father decided to keep it a secret and train her. When the Uchiha entered the academy, she had to learn to get along with other children who did not belong to her clan. Besides her abilities, there was one more in the class who could be her equal. Neji Hyuga who was already a professional at his young age. His little cousin had to be about the age of Sasuke who would soon be big enough to go to the academy. Even though Akina had heard many things about the Hyuga clan, she did not want Neji to hate the main family. In the beginning he was a nice boy who smiled from time to time. But one day he changed completely and didn't even want to have anything to do with Akina. Although Akina could put a smile on everyone's face, it became more and more difficult for the Hyuga. He closed himself off more and more and would soon make a mistake if no one stopped him at the Chunin exam. After years, not even her best friends knew that she had her Mangekyou Sharingan for the longest time. Only when they became a team again did they learn what had really happened that day. She never lost her smile and her joy. However, her manner crumbled now and then, which Akina quickly regained. Always sworn never to use her Mangekyou Sharingan, the Fourth World War made her use it. Sasuke proclaimed as the skies above roared with thunder, rain, and the young Uchiha's excitement from his dragon flames, getting what he believes will do the trick. "I'll make your death a reality." Sasuke made his way to top of the partially destroyed Uchiha hideout and looked down at his brother. "This jutsu guides the lighting down from the heavens, all I have to do is merely direct its power right at you." His hands sparked as he summoned his, hopefully, final weapon and he raised his arm. "Come Kirin!" He commanded and the lighting from took shape in the form of a dragon, its eyes just as bloodthirsty for the intended prey as much as its master's. "Now, be gone with a thunder clap." Sasuke brought his hand down to his feet and the Kirin retreated back into the sky before powerful blast of lighting strikes the earth, the impact turning more of the hideout into more rubble. Next thing the 16 year old found himself, still standing, but within the rubble, believing that he will find body of his estranged brother. But that is not the case.
