Em just moved to Colorado after living in Florida for 10 years. She is a sophomore in high school this year and she is starting new at a new school in longmont. It was a private school so she didn't have to worry about a huge school, trying to find friends in a crowd of so many people. Her 5th period class was right before lunch and her teacher made 3 kids each day go to the lunch room and help the cafeteria ladies for community service points needing a certain amount to graduate.
