Miraculous Ladybug is a show with fundamental issues and its canon origin for the characters does not escape from being problematic. So out of my disappointment, and with a sprinkle of inspiration, I rewrote the origin story into something I think would be more enticing as a show. And in the process of rewriting the origins, a new story enfolds entirely. Titled "Bonds Beyond Fate" instead of "Ladybug," I wanted to highlight that the story is about more than just Marinette, but also about everyone involved in these fateful, tangled situations. So, strap in! It's gonna be an interesting ride!
