My trip to New York City

"Rise and shine, son!" Said my dad in a bright mood. He seemed awfully happy and honestly I don't see why. We will be in the car for the 3 hours that day and there's nothing exciting about that. I responded tiredly, "Dad, it's too early for this." He didn't take af fense to that and he still seemed anxious to get on the road. Once we were all settled, we entered the car. He, like many parents said, "Buckle up!" I don't think he realized that I'm going to ignore his this whole ride. As I was listening to my music with my headphones in, I looked up and saw his lips moving. Oh god, I thought- is he singing? So my first instinct was to take of my headphones but then right as I took them out- all I hear is BOOM! Two cars away from us there was a collision!... Part 2 coming soon!:)
