Who Will You Fall For? The Quest For The Mind Mage: Intro

The first installment is what will hopefully be a full-fledged adventure-romance! Due to the fact that I can't make it a quiz, Here's how it will go down:

-Each chapter will end with a decision. Vote in the comments for what should be done next!
-At the end of the story, I will release an ending chapter for each character. Pick whichever one you would like, or read them all!
-This is a self-insert. You will be described as [YC] (your character.)
-All of the characters with endings will be of indeterminate gender, so that everyone can imagine them however they would like!

That's about it! This is my first time writing something like this, so please bear with me.

The sun rises over the quaint little farm, it's warm and gentle rays seeping through your thin curtains. You have lived here your whole life, a tiny farm in your tiny village, just a speck on the great island of Niliawn. You get up, and put on your favorite outfit, and descend the creaking wooden stairs to start what you can only believe will be another day of milking cows and mucking stalls.
