Naomi and her cousin, Blue, are going to Spain for the summer. Even though they are Latino and Latina they know absolutely nothing about their culture.
Naomi feels as if it is time to see what the Latina half of her is all about since her mother bailed out on her and her dad right after she was born.
Blue wants to go with Naomi (to be the "protective cousin"), but more importantly he was born in Spain. He wants to learn about his background since his adoptive parents won't tell him anything.
Once Naomi and Blue are in Spain, a whirlwind of adventures happen to them. They start to get a little taste of what being a Latino and Latina is all about with the help of new found friends Mateo and Damian.
Damian is a salsa and bachata dancing bad boy. As well as a song writer who knows every trick in the book to woo a girl.
Mateo is a Latino rapping fútbol player that makes everything in life like a roller coaster. Be careful that he doesn't flip you upside down... Once you are on the ride, you don't want to get off.
Blue and Naomi get more than what they expected: love triangles, shocking discoveries, and having the past and present define the person they really are. Why did they ever think this trip would be just for fun?
