It’s similar to tattoos but hey aren’t permanent - only covering her arms, like sleeves. Skylar Nightly was born with a strange power. If someone makes physical contact with her, skin on skin, that night all their memories and secrets are written in pitch black writing on her arms. Just as simple as that. She has never abused her power in any way, she just used it to get to know people and now it is needed for another purpose. The group Skylar works with are intent on finding out what Nathan Blackwell, one of the most powerful people in the world, is planning. Just one touch, just a little brush of skin is all she needs. However, she soon finds that it's easier said than done.

They argue like fire and gasoline-volatile, electric, impossible to ignore. He's a towering military man, all muscle, ink, and silent storms. She's his curvy, sharp-tongued match, with long blonde waves, blue eyes that dare him to challenge her, and tattoos that tell a story of survival and strength. Their love isn't gentle. It's raw. It slams doors and kisses hard. One moment they're at war in the kitchen-cabinet doors flying, jaw clenched, sweat glistening on her inked skin- The next, she's yanking his dog tags and dragging him into a kiss sharp enough to break them both. "You piss me off," she breathes. _"Good. That means you still care," he growls. But beneath the fights and fire lies something unshakable: a love that never backs down. Even when life throws hell at them, they face it like they face each other-head-on, hands all over, and hearts wide open.
