Zarianna Williams's life is changed when she gets bitten by another fledgeling. She meets vampire elder Ash and slowly falls in love but what about the guy from her old life. She's supposed to just let him go, and forget about him. What about the fledgeling that bit her? The sire bond may not connect the two romantically but it does connect them and this fledgling, another who did play a part in Zarianna's old life, may not like Ash's place in her new life.
