Allison has always known that she wants to be a DJ, but her strict, middle-class parents don't agree on her views, they want Allie to become a doctor. She attends on of the most prestigious all-girls schools in the country, Middleton Cross For Girls, that is filled with stuck-up, posh young females that are all the same; they are obsessed with boys. Allison has always known that she didn't belong at Middleton, but her desperate begging had gotten her nowhere. Allie's two sisters were perfect role models, exactly the way her parents wanted her to turn out but Allison has other ideas.

With the stage name DJ Misty, read as Allie takes over the underground parties and nightclubs.
