When looking through eyes of white with a mind stained midnight black You view the world in a twisted way But colors it doesn't lack You see the clouds high in the sky Just gray instead of white You realize stars are distant dreams lost in forever night You spot the lilac hues underlining happy eyes You see the scarlet scars that others try to hide But just like tired smiles And the bright sweaters that they wear Eventually they slip A terrible truth suddenly shared Due to deep unending sorrow In the center of my soul Shining waves of morning sun resemble dark and chalky coal A painless torture everlasting One without a simple cure What a beautiful sadness I am forced to endure

I'm left with colors, feelings I can't even explain. I can only sit back, let it all flow, and be quiet
