William is a nobody while his other self is famous as the youngest person in history to make the position of an Elite. The best of the best magic users. On top of that he killed Black Death a demon who destroyed much of New York. Shadow is the name he goes by as no one has ever seen his face and only a handful know his true identity.
After a year as an Elite he disappears, after the battle with Black Death, and begins a new life at the Academy but his now simple life is turned upside down by a tough as nails cocky new kid who wants William to teach her despite how he portrays himself.
