"What are you?" He asked, a sheen on nervous sweat lining his top brow. My lips tilted up in a cruel, unamused smirk. 

"Your lover, your wife, your soulmate." My soft voice carried through the air, producing goosebumps on his arms and neck. His pupils dilated; a breathe sucked in through his nose and out his mouth. 

"How? What? I've never even met you before. You're nothing to me. Y-you freak!!" He shouted out, his voice bubbling up with hysterics.  The wolf inside me howled with a combination of rage and sorrow. She fought against the chains that have held her, she fought the hardest shes ever fought before. My arms and legs start to vibrate from her force but my eyes don't leave his. 

The honey color surrounded by bottomless pits of black are wide. I can smell his fear from all the way over here, its taste wrapping around my tongue, slowly suffocating me.  

"I'm sorry." By the time he blinks again, i'm gone. I don't turn back around to watch him, i just keep running. Like i always do.All Rights Reserved
