After much research and theorizing, I've decided that I'm going to attempt it. It's risky, but I'm so desperate at this point that I'm willing to put my own well being on the line. If I survive, this may just turn out to be very... interesting. 

This is my thoughts on the origins of Sans and Papyrus, as well as their connection to Gaster. It will be connected to the ZanaTale timeline (or, in otherwords, my Sans x Reader fanfic "When Two Souls Meet"). Loosely inspired by the HandPlates AU by Zarla. Gaster and Papyrus had no idea what kind of illness Sans has, but they decided to take care of him no matter what, hoping that the sickness will soon gone either because of the medicines Gaster gave him, or disappears itself. Pretty self explanatory. This takes place after the Pacifist route in Undertale. Through determination, Frisk was able to bring back Chara, Asriel (Asriel is Flowey per say), and Gaster. I believe that Gaster is the father of Sans and Papyrus. I also don't believe that Chara is evil. The monsters are on the surface, and although they are amongst humans, most humans have accepted them.

After a year of living on the surface, monsters and humans have gotten along well, with (mostly) everyone adjusting to the many changes without much trouble. However, events take a strange turn when Sans and Papyrus--both of whom have been acting unlike themselves--go missing, supposedly without a trace. In their place are two monsters who go by the names of Wingdings and Aster, twins, claiming to be the lost Royal Scientist. Everyone is thrown for a loop, especially as nobody remembers a Wingdings or Aster--or, as they claim to be, "Dr. Gaster"--nor do they remember a Royal Scientist before Alphys. And with Sans and Papyrus missing, things don't look good for either of the boys. As their friends search for the missing skeletons, Wingdings and Aster work together to uncover what's happened while they were gone, as well as what might've caused everyone to forget them in the first place. But, trouble lurks within the shadows, as the Void closes in on them once again--refusing to let go of what belongs to it. And unfortunately, the Void is not the only thing after the boys' lives.

This story is rated mature, blood, gore, some more sensitive things that you might find extremely suggestive. Since people are enjoying my Nightmare x Reader story, I decided to do a little bit extra. My updates with this book will be a bit slower. Also in this Gaster is Sans and Papyrus's father because Dadster is wholesome and cute. Toriel and Asgore are decent friends in this one because I believe that they could have a friendship if they tried. I will put in little bits of my other ships, but Asgore and Gaster are the main focus. If you want the actual story, read it. It's very fluffy and cute and gay.
