Gracie Marshall has always been by the two men she calls her friends, James 'Bucky' Barnes and Steve Rogers. They were always with each other. So when Bucky gets drafted into the war, Gracie and Steve make there own ways to join as well. Gracie, the science major, decides to test her luck with the infamous Howard Stark and attempt to work with him. Steve, on the other hand, manages to become a whole new person with the 'super soldier serum' created by none other then Howard Stark, who is now Gracie's boss.
