Unhealthy, obese Matthew Conner struggles with losing weight. He's always easily gain but losing it was nearly impossible. Matthew just want so to be like his friend Joey. Athletic and can run for two minutes without being out of breathe. Matthew struggles with finding the motivation to lose the weight. At the point of giving up along comes Riley, Joey's blunt, honest girl in love with the human body helps motivates him to lose weight in the worse way possible. Promising to get him a girlfriend by the end of the year. Matthew is already sure that won't happen but agrees anyway. This brings a full force of destruction into Matthew's life.
