This story follows the stage lives of teen actors As they handle the world of show business as their teacher leaves them for a week to rehearse for their upcoming show, Back to the 80's.

The new director is their well loved classmate, Aidan who secretly admires lead role Coby who is the one who makes Jacob Jealous enough to fight for his girlfriend Olivia. She's Lucy's best friend, the only one she wants to talk to when evil Emily kisses David the tech guy. He's always working and knows exactly where heartthrob Leone brings Odette to make out. Odette is Sonia's bestie and Benito is Leone's best friend, but will they still be after the big fight? And what will happen when Coby's ex who is Emily's brother comes on stage after Emily causes Coby to Collapse!!!!

The drama on stage rarely compares to what goes on backstage but I guess you'll just have to find out When the curtain falls.

For 17-year-old high school senior Evan Brooks, life could be better. He's a social outcast at school, stuck in a rural Alabama small town he never wanted to move to, and he's got a secret he's desperately trying to keep: he's gay. When he embarks on a weekend vacation to the Florida panhandle with his hypermasculine brother, homophobic stepdad, and aloof mother, none of them can anticipate how much a simple 3-day trip will change their lives forever... CONTENT WARNING/TRIGGERS: Please note that this story contains very strong language at times and some mature themes. Some characters face emotional abuse. There is also a small amount of physical abuse, but it is mostly implied apart from one scene which is not extremely graphic. Some characters are homophobic, and a slur is used a handful of times. **2025 Update: Hi! This was my very first attempt at crafting an entire story from scratch all the way back in 2020, and I'd like to think my writing has since improved. I will soon be revisiting this story and making some enhancements - most notably, splitting up current chapters into smaller ones so they are much more easily digestible. In addition, I'll be making some edits to grammar and formatting, as well as giving some of the dialog a refresh in an effort to be less...cringe. Lol. There are also a few plot points I want to smooth out. While all of this is happening, the story will still be available in full here on Wattpad, though you may notice some "construction" happening (i.e. one chapter is very long and then there's a super short chapter, one chapter is formatted differently than another, etc.) Thanks for your patience while I work to spruce up this story :) I hope you still enjoy it in the meantime!

Aidan is battling his dark past and a voice that keeps him on the path that he is on. Ian, a sheltered young man, has been in the clear from the watchful eye of the SBC for some time. Their paths are linked in more ways than one. Will they resolve their internal conflicts and find what they are looking for? Will they succumb to this treacherous world that imposes laws on what cannot be understood? Collateral Damage is, at first, a slow burner that explores the inner thoughts and lives of the two main characters as it introduces the world they inhabit. The story slowly introduces hints and references that the reader can piece together to get the grander picture at play. It ramps up as you keep reading with more action and drama until it is too much to bear. Can you spot the twists before they come? I don't plan on writing anything overly graphic, but some light smut and a lot of violence will be a part of it. Rated as mature. Plan to update as frequently as I can. Hopefully weekly.

So, what happens when a boy still recovering from the trauma he gained his freshman year and a quarterback wanting a relationship where he can finally be himself, start to like each other? Clay has pushed them from his life in favour of a night of wild highs and alcohol-fuelled adventures. The thing is, that life is a series of false thrills, and in the end, these adrenaline deceptions are distracting Clay from the things that truly matter in his life. Since he was little, Clay has dreamt of entertaining a crowd, singing his soul's notes to an audience that would love the pure bliss and magic that comes from music. But school is ending soon, his friends are almost lost to him, and Clay realises his life is a fanciful nightmare. With the weight of expectation crushing down on him, his dad's illness, and the feelings he harbours for Fletcher springing forth after a long period of burial, Clay has to cast aside the shackles of his superficial life and rediscover what inspires him in life, and who truly matters. Sounds pretty usual, right?
