But once Ava's home, she gets her humanity switched off by Klaus and Elena will do everything in her power to bring back the Ava she once knew. Ava's and Elena's relationship is tested in this book especially since Damon confessed he loved Elena to Elena. Elena knows that Damon's in love with her, but Elena will always love Ava.
