Julia Alyssa Millers has an expiration date and it was approaching quickly. Ever since elementary school she's known she wouldn't make it to 18. With a cancerous tumor in her brain, she only has about a year left to live.

Jackson Terry Wakeman is Julia's best friend, or at least WAS before he moved away in 5th grade. He was madly in love with the cinnamon haired girl ever since he had met her. Now he's back and the first thing he notices is that the bubbly, innocent Julia Millers he knew has definitely changed.

With death around the corner, Julia had a long decided that it'd be best if no one cared when she left and distanced herself from her parents, classmates, and anyone she had come in contact with. So to keep herself sane, she turned to the world of stories to keep her company in fictional universes she isn't burdened with the weight of her secret. But now Jackson has reappeared in her life and he is determined to make her see that there's more to life than sticking her nose in a book and find her pursuit of happiness.

The picture I used for the cover is NOT mine. It belongs to the anime My Little Monster and I simply edited it slightly and slapped some words on it. Any books or excerpts used in the story also do not belong to me.

All similarities to people who read the story or stories belonging to someone else is purely coincidental.
