Heard of the soulmate stories? That when you find the person which the name on your wrist belongs to, everything will be happy?
Well, this story is different.
In this world instead of it being your soulmate, it's your enemy's name on your wrist. The name appears on your 18th birthday. The way it works is, instead of being happy with the person, you have to kill them. The two have to destroy one another until one of both of them are dead. If they refuse to do so, the government have to get involved. And that never ends well.
Jakob is a seventeen year old boy, shy and quiet, who has one of the biggest crushes on Theo, the class president and popular seventeen year old student. The two of them had known each other since they were extremely young. However, on their eighteenth birthdays, the names on their wrists may just about change their lives forever.
