May wakes up to an unfamiliar world. Her small coastal town is dark and deserted, without a trace of its former inhabitants. The electricity has been cut. Fires are breaking out. The clocks have stopped. Chaos has erupted, and May is trapped in the middle of it all.
Swept away by a ghostly galleon ship, she is forced to band together with a small group of survivors to piece together the events that have led to her nightmare. But in this world devoid of logic, May must make sacrifices. And her strange new reality has no mercy for those she leaves behind.

Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses.
