"Blue." He whispered.
As blue as the sky above them, pieces of sky that were looking right at him.

Nico Di Angelo often removes himself from the world. Anything real is scary, anxiety inducing, or annoying. It all comes to a stop though, when he's forced to share an apartment with the bubbly Will Solace. Will spend his day singing upbeat songs, interjecting himself into social settings for pleasure. Color. It's something our brain makes up. It doesn't really exist. So how come everyone made a big fuss about meeting and touching their soulmate so they could see in color? After all, what's so bad about black and white? Aren't they colors too? That's what Nico thought anyway. When he was younger he had tried to imagine a new color but had never been able to. His sister had died seeing the world in black in white. Nico didn't see the point of color. That is, until he touches his soulmate and sees what he's been missing out on... When I was born, the hospital my mother was in caught fire. She didn't make it due to severe burns, so I was put in a foster home. I suffer from dyslexia and ADHD, but also a curse. Wherever I go, fire follows. My first foster house burned down and three people died, the second one burned and this time, no one died. By the fifth foster home, I was a danger to others and I wasn't allowed in a house with other children. It was as if the world had cursed me to always destroy others, to kill, and to take. I never wanted to go to a new home, I tried to stay away, tried to seclude myself, but a boy with chocolate brown eyes and a leather jacket decided he wouldn't let me.Complete
