"I can't do this, Jay!" I whimpered. "What?" He asked. "I can't be with you anymore!" I yelled at him and he rolled his eyes. "She? That's what I'm talking about! You don't care for other people's feeling; especially not mine, and after all the things I've done for you! You just a fucking insensitive jerk!" I took a deep breath. "Why? Why do you insist on breaking my heart? You know how much I love you and you use that as an advantage! You're breaking me, Jayden!" He gave me a stone hard glare. "So?" -- She loved him-no, she loves him. The problem? He doesn't love her back. Hell, he doesn't even know what love is! She tried. She tried to get him put of her system. She tried to stay away from him. But he was too addicting, just like a drug. She was his. He wasn't hers. Maybe there was a tiny piece of his heart that had feeling for her? She hoped so.

As I walk into the school, he spots me and immediately starts talking to me. I brush past him, ignoring him, but today is definitely not my lucky day... He grabs my arm firmly, stopping me, and turns me to face him. The pain on my face contorts his expression. "What's wrong, Emma? Lost your voice, lizard?" I don't look at him; my head is hung low once again. "When I'm talking, you need to look at me!" he shouts, lifting my chin so I have to meet his gaze. I look at him, but it's not with innocence; it's with anger. "Oh, look, Emma's angry, everyone!" he mocks. "Just leave me alone," I say, meeting his eyes as I pull my arm free from his grip and walk away. He stares at me, shocked, as do all the kids around us, not expecting what I just did.
